Wondering if there is any recourse for a team in the event that it is forced into retirement during a race due to a failure with a spec part of the bike. E.g., assuming (for the sake of discussion -- I don't know this to be the fact) that Julian Simon's retirement in Qatar were due to a failure with the spec Suter clutch, would the team have any recourse against Suter, Geo, Dorna, etc.? If a team were forced to retire due to an engine failure, would it have any recourse? (And I'm not talking about a new engine for the upcoming race; I mean any financial compensation for the already blown race.)
