Championship (re)starts at Assen
Like the BBC Commentators said, the next race basically starts of a little private championship to establish 1,2 and 3 for this year. Great since next race is an hour and a half from where I live :D Let's hope the weather will not disappoint us.
Ain't it amazing?
Isn't it amazing that this is the first MotoGP of the 800cc era where the results were decided on the last lap?
They have races like this all the time in Superbike and Supersport but they're nowhere near as exciting.
When you get a good race in MotoGP, it's superb and it makes the dreary, processional races fade from memory. These are the races we remember.
Cheers Jeff
This season
This season of MotoGP is turning out to be closer and more competitive at the top than maybe WSBK which is not what many would have predicted. It looks like the changes made for Hayden did little to improve his race day result. I think everyone hopes Melandri will be back to the front next race. Despite not being a Pedrosa fan mainly due to Puig's influence on him the guy has shown he has a incredible tolerance to pain and continues to gut out race results.
