2018 Imola World Supersport FP2 Results: Caricasulo Quickest, Sofuoglu Fourth

Three Yamahas, Federico Caricasulo, Sandro Cortese and Jules Cluzel, topped this second session, with Kenan Sofuoglu fourth quickest on his Kawasaki, ensuring his qualification to Superpole two as he was fifth quickest of the day. Lucas Mahias was sixth quickest, unable to improve on his quickest time from the morning's session, but that time was enough to put him second-quickest overall.

2018 Imola World Superbike FP2 Results: Rea Not As Quick But Still Quickest

Jonathan Rea was quickest in a session where he and Chaz Davies were unable to better their morning's times, ahead of an improving Marco Melandri. Lorenzo Savadori was third quickest this session on the Aprilia, fourth quickest overall, behind Davies. Eugene Laverty, having passed a medical evaluation after FP1, improved on his morning's result and was eighth quickest.

2018 Imola World Superbike FP1 Results: Rea Holds Off Ducatis

Jonathan Rea is the only non-Ducati in the top four, ahead of Chaz Davies, Marco Melandri and Xavi Fores, while his Kawasaki teamate Tom Sykes was a second off the world champion's pace. Eugene Laverty, returning from injury, was ninth quickest, ahead of wildcarding five-time race winner Leon Haslam.

2018 Assen World Supersport Superpole Results: Cats Amongst The Pigeons

World Supersport Superpole qualifying had seventeen riders, Ant West not competing after his Free Practice one crash yesterday, competing for the two promotional spots to take part in the top twelve riders for the front four rows of the grid.

2018 Assen World Superbike Superpole Results: Surprising Results

Superpole one had nine riders competing for two spots to qualify for Superpole two. Loris Baz and Toprak Razgatlioglu were the quickest two riders of this second group heading into this session. The track was a bit cooler than yesterday. Jake Gagne, after a bruising crash in Free Practice two yesterday, sat this session out, and his team announced on Twitter that he would be missing the Saturday race.

2018 Assen World Superbike FP3 Results: Van Der Mark Quickest From Melandri And Rinaldi

Michael van der Mark heads to Saturday in provisional pole position, ahead of Marco Melandri and independant rider Michael Ruben Rinaldi. Jonathan Rea was unable to improve on his earlier time. Loris Baz and Toprak Razgatlioglu are the favourites for promition in Superpole one, with Jordi Torres knocking Baz to eleventh place with his time set in Free Practice two.

2018 Assen World Supersport FP2 Results: Krummenacher, Cortese And Cluzel Top Yamahas

Luke Stapleford in fourth and Raffaele De Rosa in fifth were the quickest non-Yamahas, behind Randy Krummenacher, Sandro Cortese and Jules Cluzel. Lots of laps were deleted after riders rode on the green paint on a couple of corners trying to find a fast lap. Everyone in the top ten improved on their times from this morning with Sheridan Morais and Ayrton Badovini in the favourite spots for promotion in Superpole two. 

Ant West's crash this morning has ruled him out for the remainder of the weekend.

2018 Assen World Superbike FP2 Results: Rea And Sykes Quickest

The Kawasakis of Jonathan Rea and Tom Sykes were the quickest in the second session, with Marco Melandri third quickest, albeit slower than Michael van der Mark's morning time. With only one timed session remaining later today, van der Mark, Leandro Mercado and Jake Gagne were the only riders unable to improve on their earlier times.
