2019 Portimao World Superbike FP1 Result: The Summer Break Ends Here

Returning to racing after a long summer break, Jonathan Rea and Alvaro Bautista returned to the top of the sheets as their fight continued anew, separated by under a tenth of a second at the end of the session. The top eleven were well within a second of Rea's best time, making the most of the experience from the recent test here.

2019 Laguna Seca World Superbike Superpole Race Result: Red Flagged At Corkscrew Again

The Tissot Superpole Race would determine the top three rows for race two. A red flag came out on the first lap after a crash between riders at the corkscrew and an eight lap restart would determine the results.

2019 Laguna Seca World Superbike Race One Result: Star Spangled Supercorsas

After Angela Roach belted out the Star Spangled Banner, with an appropriate amount of added notes for a sporting event, the riders lined up under a California sun. A few of the frontrunners chose to use the SCX tyre designed for the ten lap Superpole race.

2019 Laguna Seca World Superbike FP2 Result: Davies And Rea Lead Bautista

Chaz Davies, poleman last year, was quickest ahead of Jonathan Rea and Alvaro Bautista in a quicker session than this morning's timed session. Only Michael van der Mark and the Hondas did not improve on their morning's times.

2019 Laguna Seca World Superbike FP1 Result: Rea And Sykes Rekindle Rivalry

The first American session of the year was topped by Jinathan Rea and his ex-teammate Tom Sykes, continuing their British duel on from last weekend, with the pair beinf the only riders to get into the 1'23s. Toprak Razgatlioglu was the best of the rest ahead of Alex Lowes and Michael van der Mark. Chaz Davies, his familiarity with the American track shining through, kept his teammate Alvaro Bautista at bay.
