2021 Jerez MotoE FP1 Result: Granado Leads Aegerter

The first official session of the MotoE season got underway in Jerez and it was hardly a surprise to see the men who led the way in testing topping the timesheets once more. After Dominique Aegerter claimed top spot early on and followed it up with a tumble, Eric Granado took over for the closing stages of FP1 by seven hundredths of a second. Despite missing out on the final part of the session, Aegerter’s second position was not threatened at all, the next quickest man being reigning Cup winner Jordi Torres, who was almost half a second slower. Matteo Ferrari and rookie Fermín Aldeguer rounded out the top five, while Mattia Casadei, Miquel Pons, Andrea Mantovani, Yonny Hernandez and Alessandro Zaccone completed the top ten positions.
