The second day of the Moto2 test at Qatar saw six riders end the day with nothing between them at the top of the timesheets. Xavi Vierge took top spot on Saturday, the Petronas Sprinta Racing rider leading Aron Canet on the Inde Aspar Boscoscuro bike, while Jorge Navarro of the MB Conveyors Speed Up Team put another Boscoscuro (the chassis formerly known as Speed Up) into third, three hundredths behind Canet.
Remy Gardner was fourth fastest on the Red Bull KTM Ajo machine, six thousandths of a second behind Navarro, and six hundredths slower than Vierge. Jake Dixon put the second Petronas Sprinta bike into fifth, rounding out a good day for the Petronas team, while Sky VR46's Marco Bezzecchi finished sixth fastest, less than nine hundredths of a second off the time of Vierge and making it six riders in less than a tenth of a second.
Bo Bendsneyder, now on a Kalex with the Mandalika SAG team, headed up the second wave, just ahead of impressive rookie Raul Fernandez and 2020 title candidate Sam Lowes.
The test finishes on Sunday.

NTS means "Non Timed Session?
NTS means "Non Timed Session?" (poor guys!)
Close at the front! Good sign? Tip of the hat to rookie Fernandez adapting quick to put his bike in great company up there.
Not that speedy.
Not that speedy.
Now the slowest.
NTS stuck at the wrong end of the timesheets. Hafizh Syahrin is a better rider than these times suggest. Tough for him.
Very close at the top end. Twenty or 21 within one second! Depending how you figure it.
It's going to be great racing!
