2020 Jerez MotoE E-Pole Result: Who Could It Possibly Be

The last warriors to hit the track in Jerez on Saturday were the representatives of the MotoE Cup, braving the heat to battle for the first pole position on offer in 2020. It came as no surprise that Eric Granado secured pole, given his domination throughout practice but the Brazilian did have the bar set quite high by his rivals, namely Lukas Tulovic. The German held provisional pole for much of the session, before being demoted to second on the grid on his debut appearance in the class. Fellow rookie Dominique Aegerter joins them on the front row after a tricky first qualifying session for the Swiss rider, whose first lap got interrupted by a red flag.

Reigning champion Matteo Ferrari opens the second row of the grid ahead of Alejandro Medina and Xavier Simeon, while Alex de Angelis joins Jordi Torres and Niki Tuuli on a strong third row.
