2020 Phillip Island World Superbike FP3 Result: Redding Makes It Three For Three

Scott Redding was quickest for the third time this weekend, ahead of Michael van der Mark and Jonathan Rea. Redding heads to Superpole as the favourite and all nine riders at the top set their fastest times in the last session, with only Leon Haslam in the top twelve needing to rely on a time from the previous day. Leon Camier was ruled unfit after FP2 when it was clear his shoulder injury from Aragon was too much for him to compete with.

Bad news for Leon Camier.

It's only practice. Leon Haslam crashed in fp3 and just got back out again at the end of the session.

Shrink, do I believe ? YES I believe!! Scott Redding believes in himself too.

Going to be some good races this weekend.

Next weekend & all mate.

There is a surprise in superpole...

Thanks for keeping us posted. Envious of your wknd, enjoy!

Wow, that guy on that bike grabbed pole! With a bit of gap too. The chassis has looked amazing, electronics known to be, and the motor is now to match perhaps. A team is sure to clammer to grab those bikes for another 2 on the grid next season. Out of the crate easy to set up and use, unlike the Duc. Anyhoo, intoxicating prospects for 2020.

Redding is going to challenge Rea. A other few riders are going to be in the mix just behind. The bikes are ALL so good right now, eh?!

Isn't there supposed to be an Aprilia out there too? And who is this Scheib guy?

Maximilian Scheib first Chilean rider in world superbike. Last year's superbike champion in the CEV. New dad Scheib has won in superstock 1000 on Aprilia & BMW. Number 77 has raced all around South America, was Argentinian champ. Raced the last 4 years in Europe. He has had pole position in superstock at Imola.

No relation to Earl Scheib the car painter as far as I know.

Seems he has some money behind him, which is always handy.
