2019 Austria MotoE Qualifying Result: New Names At The Front

The Red Bull Ring brought the second running of the E-Pole format and the honours went to Mike Di Meglio the second time around. The Marc VDS rider held of a hard charging Xavier Simeon by one hundredth of a second, with Bradley Smith completing the front row of the grid.

Jesko Raffin, championship leader Niki Tuuli and FP3 fast man Hector Garzo fill in row two while the third row comprised of Matteo Ferrari, Alex De Angelis and Eric Granado also finished within a second of the poleman. Despite showing promising speed in practice, Mattia Casadei could not translate that into a good grid spot after exceeding track limits on his pole lap and seeing his time cancelled.
