A quick rain shower brought the test to a pause around 2pm, most teams seizing the opportunity to break for lunch. Fabio Quartararo still leads, ahead of Marc Marquez.
Satellite teams are working on setup, while the real work is being done in factory garages. So far, Valentino Rossi has been out on the 2020 prototype, while Maverick Viñales concentrates on this year's bike. Cal Crutchlow has tested the carbon-taped chassis for Honda, but was restricted in what he could say.
The rain shower makes it more likely that the test will continue until 6pm this evening.
