2019 Austin Moto3 Race Result: It's About Time

Aron Canet saved his best for Sunday by moving to the front late in the race taking his first grand prix win of the 2019 season at the Circuit of the Americas near Austin, Texas. Jaume Masia (2nd) just missed out on his second win of the season but held on for number two. Andrea Migno took the final podium spot, just in front of Gabriel Rodrigo (4th).

Canet's win in the third race of the season leaves him tied with Masia -- winner in Argentina -- for the lead in the championship.

Niccolo Antonelli, who qualified in pole position, grabbed fifth just in front of Tony Arbolino (6th). Raul Fernandez, who qualified second and grabbed the holeshot at Turn 1, was pushed into seventh by the race's end. Alonso Lopez had his best finish of the season in eighth. Celestino Vietti (9th) and Dennis Foggia completed the top 10.
