2019 Aragon World Superbike FP1 Result: Bautista Throws Down The Gauntlet

As rain threatened, Alvaro Bautista held a two tenths of a second advantage down the long back straight throughout the session, but as the flag came out, he put in a lap that was over a second quicker than Alex Lowes and Jonathan Rea could manage. Chaz Davies was fourth quickest.

perhaps some dollars from motogp development needs to be sent over to the wsbk side. Or they can do what Ducati did with their new V4 Panigale. Honestly why are such talented riders even bothering with Honda?

The Honda performance seems to be getting worse rather than better, no great surprise when it's the same old bike.  Camier is a good talent wasted at present.  Rea correctly read the writing on the wall and bailed before he wasted any more years.  It's just a shame that Ten Kate didn't move to another manufacturer and keep Rea.  Imagine if Ten Kate had been running a Yamaha with Rea onboard for the last how ever many years he's been on the Kawa.  There'd be a few less green championships I think.
