2016 Barcelona MotoGP FP4 Result: Marquez Fastest as Lorenzo Struggles

Marc Marquez once again took advantage of the new layout at Barcelona to set down an imposing pace in FP4. The Repsol Honda man finished four tenths clear of the second place rider, Cal Crutchlow on the LCR Honda. Andrea Iannone was the first Ducati, setting the third fastest time, while Maverick Viñales continued his strong run of form, taking fourth, ahead of Scott Redding in fifth.

The track changes have been less beneficial for the Yamahas. Valentino Rossi found a little extra speed at the end of the session to jump up to seventh, but his teammate and championship leader Jorge Lorenzo had real problems, ending the session in fourteenth, over two seconds off the pace of Marquez.

I think that the reason for Honda's speed is not just in new layout which gives them advantage in breaking zones, because all of them improved, I think they using some improvments that have been scheduled for Monday. Ofcourse, I may be wrong.
