2016 Donington World Superbike FP1 Results: Sykes Leads Giugliano

Tom Sykes opened his home weekend on top of the timing sheets ahead of Davide Giugliano and Jonathan Rea. There was a brief pause after wildcard Matthieu Lussiana crashed, leaving his bike on the racing line, but it was cleared quickly and qualifying resumed.

Jared, "qualifying resumed"? :)

Qualify to Qualify.....Duh   lol

Leon Camier 6th, that MV seems to be pretty competitive this year. I know, just FP1, but we see him in the top six quite often these days. Great to see that small factory doing well. If they can make one more step, he could even be challenging for podiums at some tracks. Now that would be something.

It's been said that MV have new electronics for this race, but the brilliant Camier will always be better than the bike.
