2016 Chang Thailand World Superbike FP2 Results: Van Der Mark Leads Into Superpole

The second session was much faster with everyone improving on their morning's times. Michael van der Mark was quickest ahead of Sylvain Guintoli. As Friday now determines Superpole qualifying, this quicker session determined which session riders qualified for, with Josh Brookes and this morning's pace-setter Leon Camier just missing out on automatically qualifying for Superpole Two.

... for an 8 year old honda.

Looks like they definitely found some horses during the off season.

Not bad pace. Maybe they have taken a big step this year.

I think I read it here(?) that they found 10bhp over the winter break. Hard to believe, but hard to argue with the lap times!

Yes, they allegedly found ten horses under the settee cushions or behind the fridge.

... it's important to read the comments from the riders, note that grip is still fairly low on track due to underuse. I hope I'm wrong, but as grip levels rise, I'd expect to see the Ducati and Kawi to get stronger and stronger.
