2015 Sepang MotoGP FP3: Lorenzo Makes His Point

By Mike Lewis | Sat, 24/10/2015 - 02:58

Jorge Lorenzo and Marc Marquez were fastest of the lot in FP3. There was a little bit of mind games on track between Valentino Rossi and Marc Marquez, with Rossi going slowly trying not to let Marquez follow him, Marquez happy to sit on his tail.

Maverick Viñales will go to Q1, as though he set the 10th fastest time in FP3, Andrea Iannone had a faster time in FP2, so on combined times, Iannone is 8th overall, and Viñales 11th overall.

Because they are on track for FP4 now. I think you are confused by the timing. A lot of us are.

What to make of this

VR may be paranoid and slightly rattled as captured by Jorge's comments on this situation (basically if VR were fastest it would not matter) but Marquez is acting like a punk and I really think VR has let him into his kitchen. I just hope no one's tires get cold and they get thrown as a result.
