Tough love?
A few days ago Avalon cited an interview with Speed Up's owner Luc Boscoscuro, who critiqued Lowes' inexperience, poor riding technique and scoffed at his ability to aid development of the Aprilia.
Back in the USA, there have been outraged protestations for months over the far milder critical comments of Washington's NFL coach Jay Gruden, directed at his QB Robert Griffin, aka RG3.
Whatever Boscoscuro's motives, Lowes' performance today seems like the best possible response.
In fairness to Luca.
Boscoscuro also said in the same interview that Lowes was extremely talented and fast - just that he hadn't learned how to ride properly on the brakes.
Lucky for Lowes that Silverstone is one of the least demanding circuits on the calendar when it comes to 'throwing the anchor out'.
