2015 Jerez Moto3 Race Result: Winning By A Whisker

Results Below:

Danny Kent won a gripping Moto3 race in in Jerez Sunday, diving inside Fabio Quartararo at the final turn to take the win. Miguel Oliveira, who actually led a portion of the epic final lap, finished second when Quartararo ran wide at Turn 13.

Brad Binder seized third for his top finish and first podium of the year. And Quartararo, who looked primed to take his first Moto3 win in only his fourth-ever race, finished fourth, eight-tenths of a second behind the race winner. Efren Vazquez charged through the field to finish in fifth at starting the race in 17th.

Kent's third win in a row put him 31 points in the clear for the 2015 championship.

Romano Fenati took sixth 6th just in front of Francesco Bagnaia (7th) and Jorge Navarro (8th). Francesco Bagnaia finished in ninth followed by John McPhee to round out the top 10.

Vazquez now is second in the championship to his teammate Kent. Rookie 16-year-old Fabio Quartararo sits in a surprising third in the championship.

...In order to move forward?

Looks like Kent's call to move back from Moto2 to Moto3 is justified!
Congrats on the 3rd successive win Danny!

Hi David, thanks for all the posts! What's the word on Karel? I just saw what he did on MotoGP. I know he was penalized and is starting from Pit Lane in two weeks, but is there anything from him?
Pretty nuts, I'm sure he didn't intend the crash and injury and must feel horrible, but still...
