I remember when Marquez made his MotoGP debut, he was immediately fast. Was right up there with the top few right from day one. Yes, for his luck the Honda is somewhat tailor made for style of riding. But I expected more from the likes of Miller and actually even Scott Redding. Especially Redding, he got what he wanted, still not up there. Cal seems to be getting there. But then too early to comment on all? maybe. I just want a super close race next season, dogfight! :D

Give the kid a chance, brand new team with no RCV experience, its as much about the team learning the bike as it is Redding.

Esp A did a fantastic job, but remember Suzuki have been working on this bike for 2 years. Redding's new crew have had the bike since Monday.

Are you seriously comparing miller on the slowest bike on the grid to MM's first test on the fastest bike on the grid? It is hardly an apples v apples comparison is it?. Who did you expect Miller to beat on the bike that has been at the back of the field for the whole year?

I agree that next year I would like to see even tighter racing. I have to admit that this season provided some great moments, more than I ever imagined. But the Honda is still the king of the mountain and everyone has the cross-hairs on HRC's back. It is encouraging though to see a mere 3.5 second gap among 22 bikes that tested. I know everyone is really focused on 2016, but if this pattern holds 2015 will be anything but the status quo. Obviously you have to like the Honda going in, but things could get interesting quickly. I'm already counting the days until the Sepang test in February.

@Joonyaboy, I have been consistently impressed by what Aleix can do on a GP bike. Yes, I know there have been some crashing issues, but he always gives the maximum effort, and I have a feeling that he has the proper temperament to develop a bike as well. Suzuki did well to have these 2 fine young pilots on the team and as a result I think the GSX-RR may be competitive sooner than we think. At least this is my hope!

I agree with you. He might be an example of a guy with exceptional talent that honed his craft on inferior equipment for years. Getting less-capible bikes into Parc Ferm is good training for riding a bike with a sweet chassis and great handling characteristics. I'd love to see him on an M1....just to see it, as I think that would suit him a touch more than the honda.

According to twitter , Redding and team are learning the bike and not going for a fast time just yet

New team , new bike etc etc

And still idiots vote your comment down to somehow 'prove' that Scott isn't fast enough. Shows how much they know really.

Go on, give me one star, you know you want to.

...my guess would be the votes likely weren't jabs at Redding, but because the comment began with "According to Twitter"....

Both Escargot bothers seem quite talented. Hmm. The Marquez brothers on factory Hondas, the Escargots on factory Yamahas, and les freres Vinales on factory Suzukis...could this be the future of MotoGP?
