The tall Giuliano on the Ducati 4 km/h faster than the tiny Melandri on the Aprilia? While Elias on the Aprilia is doing even 7,2 km/h more than Melandri? Rea 8,5 km/h faster than his teammate Haslam? It seems to me that for them the speed trap is pretty much on the verge of the braking zone.
Or is it just a difference in gearing and different priorities/rider preferences? Usually in the race you don't see people in the front group overtaking each other with a huge 15 km/h speed difference.
