Yeah, you're right but I didn't hear any other rider except Lorenzo who is hoping that his competition will crash. I think that's sad.

Lorenzo said: "I believe he has been lucky for the crashes. If he's taking the same risk for a long time, then maybe sometimes he will get injured. Because it's not so simple to not get injured if you risk so much."

That comes from a man who won two MotoGP titles when his competition got injured!

Your absolutely right Lorenzo has an uncanny amount of luck in all his championship title years. I mean if he wins this year after he broke his collar bone twice in two successive weekends it will undoubtedly be down to all the luck he has had falling his way (sarcasm).

Like it or not his comment about the amount of risk MM is taking is right. There is no question MM is as fast as a bat out of hell, but he is also fearless because he has not had to face servere consequences for the amount of risks he is taking. Similar to Lorenzo when he first entered MotoGP and stated that riding the bike bikes was easier than riding the 250 class. Until Jorge got hurt he took huge amounts of risks at the begin of 2008. You don't have to look further than Silverstone and the crash MM had under yellow flag conditions.

I can't actually see that Lorenzo hopes Marc gets injured in that quote. I see it more as a statement that at a certain level of risk taking, the outcome is uncertain. Lorenzo him self can certainly up his speed a little more, but the risk of a DNF is to high.

Mind that the championship is wide open if Marquez gets one DNF, even if he walks away from it unhurt.

JLO is just stating the obvious that you can't continue to crash and not get seriously injured at one point. The odds are against frequent crashers getting away with it. Every top alien has had a serious bone breaking crash. MM's turn is likely to come up soon if he continues to ride as he is riding. That's all JLO is saying. JLo never said "I wish/hope MM crashes...". However this quote or anything similar does not exist except in the minds of JLO haters.
FYI- He is the only rider to beat MM in hand to hand combat.

I thought, oh not this again. When he gives huge credit to Rossi, there's a selfish intention behind it, and now he wish other riders injuries ?

It seems like Lorenzo will never do right for some people. In fact, he's one of the most sincere people in the paddock (riders) to me. Say it like you mean it "Rorge" !

I think Lorenzo is making huge risks in the first couple of laps of the race. I believe he has been lucky not to crash. If he's taking the same risk for a long time, then maybe sometimes he will get injured. Because it's not so simple to not get injured if you risk so much. :)
