Stefan Bradl put in a blistering late lap to push reigning World Champion Jorge Lorenzo into second place during the second free practice at the Brno circuit Friday. Lorenzo, who spent most of Friday at the top of the charts, finished a mere three hundredths of a second behind the German rider. Dani Pedrosa ended the session third fastest, a full tenth of a second back. Valentino Rossi, in his 18th Grand Prix here in the Czech Republic, came in fourth with last week's race-winner Marc Marquez in fifth. Marquez, the championship points leader who won his third race in a row last week, didn't threaten the top times in both of Friday's practice sessions.

I think we're...
... in for an exciting Sunday if these first 2 sessions are any indication. Rossi's form in particular is a good sign based on the similarities with his Friday performance at Assen earlier this season. It's also great to see Jorge responding so strongly, I've got a feeling this championship is going to tighten up nicely in the 2nd half.
