2013 Brno MotoGP FP1 Result: Lorenzo Lays Down The Law

Jorge Lorenzo has left no doubt about his intentions at Brno, setting a blistering pace from the outset of FP1, going on to top the session by over a third of a second. Dani Pedrosa ended the session in 2nd, slowly building his pace, while Cal Crutchlow matched the pace of Pedrosa to take third, less than two hundredths off the Repsol Honda man's time.

Marc Marquez took 4th spot, the championship leader starting off slowly but getting quicker as the session went on, ending just behind Crutchlow, and a tenth of a second ahead of Valentino Rossi, who ended the session in 5th. Alvaro Bautista won the battle of the satellite Hondas, edging Stefan Bradl, while Andrea Dovizioso took 8th, just ahead of Bradley Smith and Nicky Hayden.
