The fastest CRT lap was less than 1 second off Franco Battaini's fastest lap on the Ducati 1000. Considering he's their test rider and has done a million laps on the thing that might suggest that the CRT's may bother the slower factory bikes or satellite prototypes at some tracks.

to 2005 and the first full grid of 1000cc four strokes and the Harris WCM with DeGea was 4 seconds back from the sharp end at Valencia qualifying.

Looking forward to the first prototype rider whining about a CR bike holding him up and costing him positions. Anything that disrupts the plans of the top race teams so adpt at running the "perfect" race is good in my book (ie a spectator)
