Valentino Rossi is the current official lap record holder, with a time of 2'00.518 set during 2009.
Valentino Rossi did not ride. The Marlboro Ducati rider was struck down with flu, and returned very early to the hotel. Alvaro Bautista and Cal Crutchlow are also still suffering.
T2 is the second official Yamaha test bike. Jorge Lorenzo took it out for a spin and set the 9th fastest time on it.

Title typo?
Should read "Sepang 2 Day 2"?
A fast Repsol Honda spaniard following a faster Repsol Honda australian. Deja-vu feeling.
I hope it ends like in 1999, not like the five previous years...
Title error.
It says "2011 MotoGP Sepang 2 Day 1 Times - Repsol Hondas Pulverize Lap Record" should be "... Day 2 Times..."
Very impressive times from Repsol boys..
Also is it still "Malboro Ducati" or is it "Tim Ducati" now?
Autocomplete
That's autocomplete for you ... Fixed it now, thanks!
And it's still "The Ducati Marlboro Racing Team" it's just that you can't see the logo anywhere.
Becoming more ominous for the opposition
Now that HRC seem to have sorted their achilles heel - the clutch. Here's hoping the Yamaha's can stay with them, and that someone gets the GP11 working good and on the pace. I really expected more from Capirossi by now. He's had four seasons to get used to the electrotrickery of the modern era and plenty of experience of Ducati's DNA. Rather surprised to see him so far back. Perhaps time is catching up with him and the goal posts have been moved too far forward by the young bucks.
Wow
5 Hondas in the top 7! 1 Ducati in the top 10?!
Hopefully 2011 doesn't turn out to be a one horse show
Looks like Honda *must* get
Looks like Honda *must* get the title this year or else heads will roll...
