Bradley Smith eased the pain of British fans after yesterday's soccer disaster by setting the fastest time in the morning session for the 125cc class. The Bancaja Aspar rider ended the session ahead of Tuenti Derbi's Pol Espargaro, and yesterday's fastest man Red Bull's Marc Marquez. Efren Vazquez and Nico Terol rounded out the usual top 5, the rest of the field over a second back.

Disaster..? just disappointed.
I liken Englands football in SA so far to Cals decision to walk away from the Tech3 ride..
If they win the rest of their games, they win the World Cup..If Cal wins the rest of the seasons WSBK races he'll trigger the the MotoGP option in his contract and earn a contract for 2011...both are unlikely given current performance indicators, but we can live in hope?
Well done Bradders topping the sheets but we all know it's Sunday that counts, here's hoping we see a grittier, go get 'em attitude from Smith than we've seen from either of the above..
Good luck to Taylor and the other GBR lads as well.
