Maybe it's not fair to compare outright lap times, but look at the gap between his times and the fastest riders: Barely a second from Mladin and Spies, and now 2.5 seconds from the top? That's just not right.

What it tells me is that he's more than capable of putting in the fast times, but his equipment just sucks ass. I hope the rumors of the next ZX10R as a world beater are true. But having said that, does the performance of a production bike *directly* translate to a WSBK spec machine? If that were the case shoudn't the BMWs be winning everything?
