Great ride by Toni Elias, he has got the handle on that satelite Ducati and I still reckon he deserves a seat on the factory Ducati over Nicky Hayden, he is young and got the balls to challenge anyone on the MotoGP grid and most deservidly should keep his current ride!

Cheers................Agro

With the exception of the fight for sixth place, and, I suppose, the drama of Stoner falling, again!, this was almost as boring as F1.

I have to agree with geriatrex. Watching Stoner fall was great, but I would have preffred watching Rossi fight his way past Stoner. Laguna was awesome, most of the rest of the season has been a boring parade. Bring bck the 990's!

I watched the race at the Ace Cafe in San Francisco, and up until Stoner's crash, the atmosphere was great. A huge cheer among the many Rossi fans in the bar, then the mood seemed to settle into mild interest about some of the battles going on down the field. Mild, though, was the tone as Rossi maintained his lead and rode to victory. I wouldn't say the rest of the race was F1-boring; there was passing, after all, and there was some suspense as to where riders like Toseland and Elias would finish. But after Laguna, Brno and Misano have seemed a bit of a let down once the effect of Stoner's crashes has worn off. I fear the season peaked in Monterey, but what a peak!
