Introducing The Paddock Pass Podcast - Episode 2, Barcelona

MotoMatters.com is proud to announce that we have been collaborating on a new project with Jensen Beeler and Tony Goldsmith of Asphalt & Rubber and Steve English, MotoGP reporter for MCN. Called The Paddock Pass Podcast, it is a half an hour or more of discussion and banter about MotoGP, featuring MotoMatters.com founder David Emmett, Tony Goldsmith and, if we can get them, selected guests.

After an early tryout, the first official episode looks ahead to the Barcelona round of MotoGP. We take a look at Honda's problems, who can beat Jorge Lorenzo, what Valentino Rossi needs to do, the prospect of more horsepower at Suzuki, and much more.

We hope you enjoy the podcast, and leave any feedback you have - positive or negative - below. Audio quality is an aspect we will be working on in future episodes, but we hope this is good enough to start off with.

Sorry i missed the first one, but i enjoyed listening to this one as it gave my poor eyes a rest.

But seriously, I look forward to hearing more intelligent but laid back talking about our sport

Hi,

I could help you guys out if you need any artwork for the podcast i am an artist and willing to do some for you if you need it for free. Also i could help you out with setting the podcast for iTunes as well if you need any help with that i have a couple of podcast i post myself to iTunes.

You drew the analogy between Maverick Viñales and Danny Kent and the way Kent can go on to win the championship, by adopting the same philosophy that Viñales used to win the championship. Did I miss something; does Danny have a cousin that could miss his breaking point by 10 meters, by acccident and ‘Harpoon’, the rider that was leading the championship out of a race with two rounds to go? Thereby opening the door for Viñales to get back into the championship.

Nice new advenure David.

If you all can get some USB condensor mics, and put any old vocal compressor on the audio track, you should be good to go. But you are probably already working on all that!

Great idea but could you introduce yourselves at the start of each podcast so I know who is speaking

Still a great idea ;).... gonna become a site supporter David, it's so worth it.

Honestly, I think podcast or youtube is the way to go to stay relevant (especially with the younger demographic).

Besides the microphone quality and the cell phones going off I found it a wonderful second foray. The transitions were mostly smooth and you play off one another well which is extremely important. I look forward to your next episode.
