Phillip Island really threw a wrench in FQ's plans.

If he could have simply got a top 8 he'd still have a small but reasonable chance (assuming a Pecco DNF and FQ podium).

But I feel bad for Quartararo. Trying to drag this Yam to a title is a monstrous effort. But it’s all about the title for him. Win or bust.

Fabio isn't out of the woods yet, but damn if he needed a breather. If I'm Bagnaia I'm asking for team orders. He has to overtake Fabio the next two races, playing catch up is exhausting, especially when your future teammate is not afraid to be so damn annoying and competitive.

Re: RACE 3: Argentine Gp Termas de Río Hondo

Well done. MotoGP's parity is insane and has allowed for years of awesome races and results. Nowhere else in the world would an Aprilia equivalent win on speed, pace and merit without the need for unforseen and exagerated attrition. Hats off, Aleix. What do you guys think of 2 days weekends going fo...

Bye bye 2021 season. You were great.

2022 has Ducati written all over it, but things rarely go to plan in MotoGP.

I think it has been since 2017, but Marquez was at the very top of his form and prevented their titles.

Re: Round 16 - Misano

Quite eventful. Well done Quartararo. Exceptional rider, worthy champion, thoroughly deserved. It took a long time, but Yamaha finally have their post Bridgestone rider. And 2022 looks like another classic in the making. Marquez’s new found form and Bagnaia seem perfectly capable of winning and chal...

Very happy for a ‘boring’ MotoGP race. Moto3 spooked me out.

Man, this is the Marquez I want to see. :)

Re: Round 15 - Red Bull Grand Prix of the Americas - Circuit of the Americas

Nice, cheers. After all these years, I had a massive 'eureka' moment. COTA would be better if it ran backwards and skipped from what currently is turn 15 to turn 12. For cars, the esses and whole back section does nothing but spread the field apart and make it more difficult to stay within DRS dista...

Re: Round 14 - Gran Premio Octo di San Marino e della Riviera di Rimini Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli

Awesome race. Bagnaia seems the complete package, all he needs is to develop consistency (which he seems perfectly capable of doing) and Ducati will have finally found their guy. Speaking of Duc, surely they can't just let Bastianini walk. And I'm happy for FQ. It ain't over til it over and today he...

Re: Round 14 - Gran Premio Octo di San Marino e della Riviera di Rimini Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli

No gonna lie, Moto GP's qualifying sessions have never been so boring. Watching riders wait for tows and then run around in conga lines has completely killed my enthusiasm for Q1 and Q2. Not to mention the cameras only follow MM (the worse offender), so of course I saw none of Bastianini's fast lap...

I liked the race, too bad Quartararo had such a poor day (for his 2021 standards). It would have been more exciting with him elbows out in the top 5.

Re: MotoGP 2021, Aragon. Win or bin, which Marquez will show up?

I have no idea of what'll happen. That being said, Marquez seems fast but not clearly fastest, which is exactly the scenario I want to see play out. I'm very curious to see how he'll balance his aggressiveness with a very tight field and a win not a sure scenario.

MotoGP 2021, Aragon. Win or bin, which Marquez will show up?

Left handed circuit, home turf, inching closer to full fitness; what do you guys expect from MM? I just hope he doesn't bump people off again (and maintain he should have received a slap on the wrist and 3 place grid penalty). As a side note, I hope Martin has a clean weekend. I'm very interested in...

What is the most likely Yamaha line up for 2022? Factory is Quartararo, Morbidelli Satellite is Dovi on a factory bike and the A-Spec bike is yet to be filled. They said they were going to bring new talent into MotoGP, most likely from Moto2 and then they signed Dovi so its a case of say one thing,...

Quartararo has been exceptional. It's refreshing to see a genuine new alien emerge. I love him, but honesty is necessary. Marquez has been poops. Total garbage. Sachsenring aside, every single race is a countdown to the moment he screws up. When will the press call him out? Has he not crashed enough...

I think Marc is def returning to form.... hopefully he can manage his shoulder for the rest of the season and finally have a surgery free winter.
