At the end of the day at each MotoGP event, journalists crowd into hospitality suites and pit garages to question the riders on how the day went, and find out what they have been riding on. Unfortunately, those interviews are not usually available online during the racing season. However, our good friends over at GPOne.com have been recording these interviews at the current MotoGP test at Sepang, and have put up edited versions for their readers to listen to.
As GPOne.com is an Italian site, the interviews with Italian riders such as Valentino Rossi, Loris Capirossi and Marco Simoncelli are all done in Italian, but English speakers will be delighted (and unsurprised) to hear that the interviews with Casey Stoner and Nicky Hayden are also online, and in English. They are both short, and well worth a listen. In the interviews, Casey Stoner explains that he has been having cramp pains during testing, but that the bike is going extremely well, while Nicky Hayden explains where his excellent time came from on Friday.
