Tapatalk support?

Post by xyx »

I don't know if it's even possible or if it slups involve a lot of work, but I for one motomatters junkie would find it brilliant if the forum had tapatalk support.
Tapatalk gives you easy access to forums through mobile phones such as the iPhone and Android phones.

I've never even heard of it. I access the forums on my Blackberry. It isn't the easiest but it isn't that hard. How is Tapatalk better?

Well, the Tapatalk application give you access to the forum in a way that is better suited to the smaller screen of a phone.
Basically it trims out all the "extras" of the standard web interface and makes it easier to navigate. Less graphics and empty spaces and thus less scrolling needed.

Apparently there is a beta version for BlackBerry:

Thanks for the heads up. During the summer break, I'll be working on giving Rats some proper access to the server, so he can fix this sort of stuff. Haven't had the time

You don't. Until Tapatalk-support is enabled on the forum. :)

There's no hurry. It's just a nice-to-have feature.

I haven't had time to think about it either. Fortunately, witha break coming up I will be able to get some stuff done, like get this a linux box running.

Okay, looking into this and figuring out how to keep up to date on my trip to Laguna this week, I have realized this would help a lot. We'll work something out.

has there been any movement on this Rats? I certainly dont want to hassle but having since found the beauty of tapatalk for some of my other forums this little app is a beauty.

I would actually be keen to see this happen too. Having recently upgraded to an Android phone, it is sometimes good to use for forum posting, but the current forum layout is rather difficult to use on such a small screen.

Excellent. I just installed the demo version of Tapatalk and was able to access the forum very easily. Cannot post using the demo so will purchase the full version (only $2.99) and try that as well. It certainly makes it much easier to browse the forum though :)

The Blackberry version is in beta still and a charitible person might say that it doesn't work. What little I have been able to do does make some things faster and easier but not by much. I'll be on an Android next month so it won't matter so much.

All I had to do was download the latest version of the tapatalk software and it was log-in as usual,,,

wonder if you can see if my status is "logged on" just like when I am logged on the computer. You obviously don't get the lay-out home screen so I couldn't tell..
