SERVER BEING MIGRATED - OUTAGES POSSIBLE

Post by Kropotkin »

Hi guys and gals,

Monday 30/3 and Tuesday 1/4 I will be migrating from one server to another. This means that the forum and main site will be going down at some point, and coming back up again later. Moving server also means changes to the DNS, which tend to take about a day to fully propagate around the internet. This means the forum may seem to be down for longer than you think. I'll try go set up a redirect by IP address on the old site.

The new server is bigger and better. It probably won't have much effect on the forum (which is pretty responsive anyway) but the main site should respond a little snappier.

Sorry for the inconvenience, but it's for the best in the long term...

UPDATE

Server is migrated. Everything appears to be working properly. If anyone spots a problem, let me know!

subscription renewal

Post by lilyvani »

David, I couldn't find any info on renewing my subscription on the forum or main site so hope this does the trick - do you automatically renew subs or send an auto-reminder? I'm just conscious that it must be getting near that time of year for me to renew.

You should get an email automatically reminding you 2 weeks before it expires. Also, if you log in on the main page, and go to My Settings, you should see a tab with Orders. There you can see the status of it.
