Stan Stephens. Building a 'Monster' LC

Talk about all things motorcycling and non-motorcycling, not directly related to racing. No Politics.

Stan Stephens. Building a 'Monster' LC

Post by Albert »

At a loose end at work the other day waiting for a casting to turn up for machining.
To kill some time a mate gave me half a dozen "Classic Motorcycle Mechanics" magazines to read and the following was in the January 2011 edition -----
----- I thought some of you might enjoy it!

I have to work damned hard for a living Pantah ;) (or so I tell my manager!) -- but occasionally I get a bit of "downtime" waiting for castings turning up from one operation or another. That's usually when I get to look through a cupboard full of old MCN's and some other such stuff.

I had a very quick look today at another of Stan's articles relating to squish bands - I'll fetch it back with me tomorrow and scan it. I'll post it on here rather than start another thread with it!

Edited to add --
It may take a little longer! Since I wrote the above I've done some damage to a knee and may not get back into work for a week or so!
