MotoAmerica 2020

Looks like MotoAmerica is getting very serious about actually racing in 2020.

One of the better US circuits at Road America near Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. 4 miles, 6.5 kilometres is a long lap. Not suitable for racers with a short attention span. Fast & challenging, with a bit of up & down, as I like race tracks.

Serious distancing & other precautions in place. No spectators at this round, curious to see how things go.

Could be the start of something awesome. Two twelve lap races for the superbikes, 11 laps for supersport.

They are planning to run 10 rounds before the end of November.

No spectators at this round. Commencing next Friday the 29th. After that, wait & see.

Seems like they are adapting to the state requirements and expecting things to change as time goes by.

Or they are making it up as they go.

From what I've seen there's a lot more variation in state requirements in the US than there is in AU

Watched a few of the rounds this year, pretty underwhelmed by the racing but some beautiful tracks with some awesome elevation changes.
Supersport has some decent racing with the boy Brandon Paasch who raced Moto 3 in the UK last year usually near the front with two other guys.
