Great to see Scott in the british series
Think it will do him good and being in possibly the top team allow him to get back to winning ways and enjoy himself

Will be great to see Scott on competitive machinery, although can't help but feel an opportunity has been lost with not going to Moto2 and the level playing field the new Triumph will provide.
I think really now it's going to be down to Scott, and what version of him we get for the series.

Also interesting to see how the Ducati V4 turns out - will they hit the ground with both legs running or take a while to hit the mark? It's far from certain, although as the best-funded team on the grid they stand a better job than anyone of making a run of it.

Would you believe Scott Redding qualified on the front row for the first round. I was pleasantly surprised.

Well done Tarran Mackenzie, pole position! Aussie Jason O'Halloran second, Go McAMS Yamaha!

Looks like the Ducati V4R is going to work in BSB. Not quite as quick as the Yamaha M1s at the little Silverstone National circuit Length, 2.638 km (1.639 mi). Six Turns, count 'em 6.

Looks like Scott is spending more time at the track & less time in the hairdressers.
S.R's team mate 2015 BSB champ Josh Brookes was quick in fp1 on the new Duc, had a problem in qualifying & will start 18th.

Tommy Bridewell also fairly rapid on the Ducati V4R starts from 7th on the grid.

Hoping for some good racing, not much else on this weekend.

Re: Scott Redding mixed results

Post by Apical »

Scott Redding had a decent result in race 1, not so hot in race two.

Mixed results for the Ducatis at Silverstone. Two ducs in the top five in race 1. A fourth in race two, then the next Ducati was way down in 16th.
Tommy Bridewell 3rd in the championship on the Oxford Products Moto Rapido Ducati.

Good mix of manufacturers at the front.

I believe it was a pit bike accident which caused it.

Also I'd like to introduce you to the podcast "Chasin' the racin'" by National Superstock rider Chrissy Rouse and road racer Dominic Herbertson if you've not already seen it

I hope this is ok to share on here as it's all things motorcycle racing.

Round three Donington national circuit, Race one winner Scott Redding. WOW ! I had my doubts.

BSB seems to be very competitive this season. Times are very close in practice & qualifying. Haven't seen the race, just the results

Well done S.R. 45 & the Be Wiser Ducati team!

I too had my doubts, and thought that this would be a learning year for Redding. Clearly not.

Well done Scott.
