First meeting of 2016 was our local - Southern Downs Road Race Series.
We had a ball at Round 1, with lots of new faces on the grid and plenty of old ones :)

We decided to give the Island a miss this year as it costs too much, but you will see us at the Barry Sheene in Sydney - March 17th-20th.

Check out the first run of the season with words to read and pictures to look at, hope you enjoy!

More fun at the race track on the baby blades for the closing round of the Queensland Championships.
It was a cracking time even with rain! Check out the race report for all the photos and details on how it went down.

The island classic is on this weekend
Good teams from around the world
Gathered together at Phillip island to ride the wheels some very serious race bikes dressed in retro sheep's clothing.
Marc Marquez could ride a pork chop through a pack of wolves. Then ride around and lap them!
But can he ride the all conquering Yamaha TZ750?
Can Marquez ride a T-Rex or Vincent?

Interesting collection of machinery, 35 years or more older. A lot of 1000cc bikes that have been bored out and there's even some even older bevel drive Ducati's. I'll be interested to see how the TZ350 goes against the bigger machines

What the frig is a 1982 Vincent?
My signature isn't particularly interesting

To the best of my knowledge the Vincent is all new.
It's an Irving Vincent, made in Australia.
They were up to 1600cc so I'm guessing 1982 is the engine capacity.
Beau Beaton was riding it last time I heard anything.

No I'm wrong again. 1982 was specified as the year it was made! As far as I know they didn't make Vincents in 1982?

I did see some coverage & results. The Aussies won the teams challenge.

Not going to make it to the Island classic again this year.
Or the motocross at Woodville New Zealand.

Planning to be at Phillip Island on Thursday for world SBK 2020 round 1.
