Ok, last round was a total disgrace, with the great pop of 17% (when you round up) for getting 1 of 6 correct. I was away for a short time on IR but I can do better, I know I can. So, I'm going for that perfect shot, I've gotten the golden goose-egg before and I'm positive I can do it again. 0 isn't out of reach. To help the cause :ugeek: I've revived the Henderson powered dart board but it's now mounted on a perfectly square, semi-elliptical, CF coated unobtanium core ostrich hip with a fully integrated fuzzy control layer for the upside down swingleg which is connected via reconfabulated pygmy goat buttocks (less vibration, better feedback) to the bottom en . . . ummm, exhaust port. You really gotta watch yourself when someone gets a bullseye, but the show can be quite entertaining depending on size and depth of dart and who might be standing near a hoof, exhaust, etc.

Anyway, here's Mick's Picks for Aragon >

Not great odds for this round.

@Ipso: What if Stoner doesn't win? I'm going to be laughing all the way to Motegi :D

Unable to post bets on mototheory this morning. If still in time, may I bet 35 on Stoner and 10 on Pedrosa? Thanks!

This situation is entirely motomania’s fault.

I took that to heart, last minute. (And I was hovering over the Pedrosa “100 to Win button”, just to change it up, but at the last second I chickened out and went for the higher percentile bet. I was kicking myself at the end of FP1, having all kinds of grumpy conversations and speculations about how Stoner may be suffering some unknown physical weakness from the heat.)

I completely agree with you on the odds. I just couldn’t muster any enthusiasm for the 1.nothing other bets. Even with all 100 on Stoner it was still like 2.3. I hate this odds thing. I’m a soul surfer. I should be betting on karma, helping the others out with the odds.

But this weekend it’s Podium or DNF for me!

And ~230 some points are going to be mighty sweet, as I look down from the podium and wink at your girlfriend. :D

easy boys,, Barbera is a very good rider, but Nicky needed that spot. He would look less than impressive to the factory if he let that one go.

OK,, I'm biased ,, I got the points  :D

forgot to post them here,, I banked on Hayden ;)

Well, there weren't a lot of points to be had this time around as is typical of the races Stoner wins.

Podium regulars, Doca and WayneG took this one, Doca primarily putting points on the short odds for Stoner while WayneG took most of his points from the short odds on predictions. Ipso takes the final spot going completely for the race winner bet.

Congrats to Doca, Wayne & Ipso for their great podium finishes! Go ahead, suck down that bubbly.

BIN'd IT!! The Henderson powered CF Pygmy OstriGoat seemed to be quite accurate with a Golden GooseEgg for the week! That means I didn't make any points up on either of the two in front of me so I could break into the top 30. Never mind that I don't think either of them are currently participating :D

I've set a goal to make 1,000 before the end of the season. We'll see what happens. Hmmmm . . . maybe instead of classic power, I need to think green . . . hhhhmmmmm.

I'll be using my new aluminium Powerbook next round, that should give us the improvement we need to close the gap to the first group.

@Ipso, well done. You're almost catching me in the standings now. ;)

You’re still ahead of me. Drats. (You're no quitter.)

I’m too tired from the race to even wink at your girlfriend from this bottom step of the podium. I may have to tuck in behind and follow your lead the next few rounds to try and catch up to the next group, then maybe we can sneak moves the last race. (But criminy, it’s “hitters” all the way up the line.)

But no matter what happens:

Not only have Bac and Punkass pulled more of a gap on me, but Wayne and Doca are closing in from behind, solidly. My Pitboard is all bad news.

Only four races left.....gotta keep my head down.
