Don't know which part of Scotland you're in, but it's glorious here in Aberdeenshire right now 8-)
Soggy Glasgow  You guys get it a fair bit drier on the east side

Re: R17 - Pramac Australian MotoGp Phillip Island 2019

Thanks for the offer Apical but I'll be firmly stuck in wet and windy Scotland on the other side of the planet. Just wondered because me and the other half visited Phillip Island about 10 years ago in December and it seems so small. Went round the circuit in a V8 supercar, watched the penguin walk a...

Re: Jake Dixon

I'd love to see it but just not so sure either will have a great year. Lowes was rapid in the pre season testing this year but until the last two races he's been dire. How that got him the Marc VDS seat I really don't know. Dixon has no pedigree in GP so although the bike's a dog there is no accurat...

Re: British Superbikes 2019

Honestly I think they have shot themselves in the foot releasing Bautista, at least in the short term. I know he had a terrible few rounds but the injury at Laguna was the nail in the coffin and let's not forget he absolutely trounced everyone in the first 11 races. If we ignore wage demands Alvaro ...

Re: Bautista to Honda WSBK

First of all nice to see a proper Japanese factory team, wish Yamaha and in particular Suzuka would follow suit. Secondly for biker mike, it has been reported that HRC offered him double the salary he's getting at Ducati :o Edit, I wish SUZUKI would follow suit!! Would be more than happy if they we...

Re: British Superbikes 2019

Kent did ok with Halsall Suzuki at the end of last year but agreeing to ride that skip of an MV was a bad choice, possibly only second to carrying a knife when collecting a " debt." I think next year that Redding will be a podium contender but honestly I don't see him beating Rea ie in the champions...

I fear Redding is going to stroll this, he is super strong at Donington. It's already just between him and Brookes, that Ducati is just so good

Re: Puig is scum, and Honda is in crisis

If it ain't broke don't fix it. Just wish the organisation I worked for subscribed to this theory!!!!

Honda have got it spot on, would be madness to sacrifice some of Marquez performance to benefit the others unless he hurt himself

Re: R13 - GP Octo di San Marino e della Riviera di Rimini

I find it almost incredible that two multiple world champions fail to realise they have exceeded track limits, lucky that tracks are no longer bordered by just grass!! More like two ego maniacs getting annoyed at each other, having a bite at each other and only stopping when it almost ended up pear ...

Arai Quantum Visor Change

Was looking for some advice regarding a visor change on an old Arai Quantum Schwantz replica that I have. I'm looking to replace the clear visor with a dark one but because of its age when you lift the visor there isn't the wee leavers to release it. I can see the red tabs that are pushed back to re...

Re: Racing circuit pantheon

Apical, I've been to Silverstone a few times for WSB and Moto GP. Went for Moto GP in 2011 and 2017, nothing much to write home about sadly.......... aside from watching Moto GP at Hangar Straight where the speed is incredible, probably the only section where you can get reasonably close Went for WS...

Re: British Superbikes 2019

Being a Scotsman I'm hoping young Tarran McKenzie can put the cat among the pigeons or the Yamaha amongst the Ducatis title wise. As you say Fingernails it was great to see young Brad Ray back on it, I was worrying for him after the terrible start to his season. Plus as my name suggests I've got a s...

Ice Speedway Gladiators

Hi all, new to the forum and thought I'd maybe introduce a different motorcycle sport to the table. Over the last 4 years I've acquainted myself with the Ice Speedway Gladiators series first of all watching online and the last 3 years watching in the flesh. It really is spectacular stuff, lean angle...
