Re: 2020 road racing line up

Ant, noticed something when I was scrolling through the Ulster GP tweets from the last two years. They seem to firmly blame poor spectator numbers for the financial crisis faced by the event, rather than no financial mismanagement. Although it can't be an accurate guide of spectator numbers, they co...

I did that years ago, a street in Wales was confirmed at some point last year as steeper than Baldwin Street though

Re: Mugello 2020 packages

Hi, can't help with a package but went to Mugello in 2010 and paid for a seat in the Poggio Secco grandstand to sit amongst the Rossi fans at the Italian GP. It was good and was defo a Rossi supporting stand but the real yellow brigade were on the grass beside so I'd recommend just getting the gener...

Re: 2020 road racing line up

I did thanks. It's all a bit casual right enough like a gentleman's agreement where I've sent a hundred pound deposit by cheque and then pay the balance when I get there, no formal paperwork or anything like that  fingers x'd I've not been scammed!!!!

I hope it's not just Zarco who gets the improved support and poor old Tito is left where he's been the last couple of years

From Moto 3 world champ to BSB to conviction in court for knife carrying to British Supertstock. Glad to see his life hasn't gone completely down the toilet but hope he realises this is defo his last chance.

Good luck Danny

Doubt it, although he was reasonably quick in 125s a while back. I like Toseland though, 3rd best British WSB rider so good to have him back

Re: Lorenzo's press conference

It was bittersweet to hear of Jorge's retirement, a sad announcement that one of the best ever is leaving but a good thing that all things being well this weekend he'll not suffer any more injury. When he was coming up through the ranks I only paid passing attention to 125s and 250s, but I was aware...

British Cycling

Not sure if anyone is into cycling, but way back at the start of Team Sky I got right into it and Wiggo mania when he won the TdF in 2012. I believed they were doing it clean as per their motto and then when the Fancy Bears released details of him getting a TUE ( exemption to use what would normally...

Re: Ulster Grand Prix(Spoilers)

Surely Red Bull could be lured into sponsoring it as the world's fastest road race, get one over on it's main rival Monster. The Ulster suffers from a number of cons though including a secluded location, poor general wet climate and being at the end of the season. I think being the last big race has...

Re: Who will be the next MotoGP Champion...

Again I think Yamaha have woken up and smelled the coffee ie that Rossi is past it. They are now listening to Vinales who is getting a far bigger say in changes to the bike and as such he is getting back to where he was when he first joined them.

Exactly, poking his nose in and interfering like Bernie Ecclestone in F1 a few years back. Hope Jorge told him where to go

Re: Behind Closed Doors...

Is it just me or does everything Yamaha do beggar belief? Why give Zarco an ultimatum of 3race LCR deal or Yamaha test rider? Why drop Folger for the very average Japanese riders ( no disrespect to them)? Sure, Zarco's KTM job was bombed and he dipped out early but he was rapid on the very customer ...

I had heard Glenn stepped away from Tyco because he was going to Honda next year. With Iddon gone I really can't think who Tyco can sign next year, maybe Lorenzo!!!!!

I'm sure they've said the same for at least a decade, the racing's always been terrible in F1. The only thing good about it used to be the sound of the cars, even that's gone now

I see they've signed Christian Iddon to replace Scott Redding next year, with Camier and Haslam staying in WSB next year I can't see anything other than domination from Brookes.
