Should Suzuki get Morbidelli and drop Rins?

Just a thought after yet another podium lost for Rins. Assuming no problems with money and contract clauses, what do you guys think about this?

Right now, I'd say yes.

Re: Grande Prémio 888 de Portugal - Rd 3

Quartararo is unstoppable on days like these, but today was also a small reminder in why Mir is the champ over others, nobody is as consistent as him yet. Everyone else just crashes and he salavages points on his bad days. Lots of crashes, huh? I feel like jumping on the FQ hype train despite knowin...

Re: Marquez 2021

I guess he's back, or at leat will get a full weekend of riding in anger. Assuming fitness and health are not chronic problems, a steady top ten would be enough.

Re: TISSOT Grand Prix of Doha - Rd.2

It does seem as Ducati stil rely on Dovi's win as slowly as possible style, but Zarco and Martin were very very good.

How the hell did Ducati top one of the slower sectors in qualifying, by the way?

Re: TISSOT Grand Prix of Doha - Rd.2

I think Miller should be given a penalty. If they tangle and any one them falls on or close to the racing line, over half the field is behind with the throttle wide open and we have a tragedy about to happen.

Re: Racing circuit pantheon

Qatar?
Racing tends to be good, but it's not a track I think of when I want to picture the best. It's top notch for MotoGP as far as modern tracks go.

I wish they raced in the day instead of at night there.

Re: Marquez 2021

2 cents time: I blame Marc's premature comeback on Puig. Doctors aren't racers, at best they give clinical advice. They can't be blamed. Marc as a racer is naturally drunk on the competition himself and he is even more on the natural prospect of titles, records and the GOAT debate. As a team manager...

Track looked terrific for bikes.

Is there any secreto to Miller's riding style? He makes the GP20 look good with these tyres on back to back weekends at very different circuits.

Re: 2020 world championship prediction

Nice. I always expected Mir to do well, but his second race at Austria convinced me to jump on the bandwagon. Even though he lost a sure win, he was composed enough to fight on and score as many points as possible, in that case 4th after beating Dovi. And of course we all know it takes a lot to beat...

Re: R13 Gran Premio de Europa Circuit Ricardo Tormo SPAIN

I don’t mind Quartararo’s behaviour. Seing Suzuki succeed must hurt more than watching Marc win over and over. If anything I think now is the time for Yamaha riders to exert the most pressure possible on everyone between Italy and Japan.

Mir has a solid and deserved lead now.

Quartararo's season now reminds me of Maverick in 2017.

Portugal is in a second lockdown, if the race somehow doesn't go ahead...

Re: R13 Gran Premio de Europa Circuit Ricardo Tormo SPAIN

Not the nail biting race I expected, but a fitting result to help put things in proper order before the season’s end. I’m a little sad to see Quartararo’s challenge fade like this. All of a sudden it reminded me of Maverick’s 2017 season. The collective struggles of the Yamaha riders make me wonder ...

Miller was strong in both sessions.
Eventually people will look back and realize he was the strongest Ducati rider of the season, but with rotten luck.

There was no Moto2 rubber on track at Aragon this Sunday to explain Maverick going backwards. It must be all in his head.

Re: 2020 world championship prediction

I'm going to go out on a limb, unless Dovi turns it around to today, then I think he's out of the championship. We are not seeing Ducati doing that well when the track temperature is low and there's only 3 races after this (assuming no cancellations), which are in the Northern Hemisphere November I...

Re: MotoGP R12 Gran Premio Liqui Moly de Teruel 25 Oct

Different race but fun and tense as usual. Too bad Alex crashed out but it goes to show how thin the margins are for the guys at the front. Not a bad day for Mir points wise but I wonder how much Quartararo will benefit from the points he gained by virtue of others' DNF. A point here and there can m...

Re: 2020 world championship prediction

Dovi winning would be the largest middle finger ever. And the awkwardness.

I am surprised Maverick has been able to hang in for so long.

If only Mir could steal a win and build a cushion... but I still feel Quartararo will take it even if he has to sweat much more than I expected before.
