Re: Nick Harris, omg

Dylan Gray left of his own volition so he could live in the US with his partner. It is unfortunate. He is good. As I review the 2017 season, the input he has had is essential to the racing. For example calling out that Pedrosa signaled to his team to get his second bike ready was a important and at...

The way that MM uses his elbow as a component of his traction management system is one of those critical changes in riding style that will one day become a fundamental of riding like hanging a knee out.

Glad to be back. The racing got good so I had to stop watching because I'd have nothing to complain about.

Re: Racing circuit pantheon

I am surprised so many people mention Jerez, while there have been some great battles there, that seem more the result of Spanish riders going harder than normal because the crowd is completely apes**t. Overall, it is an underwhelming track without much scenery to hide that fact. I was glad at least...

Re: Nick Harris, omg

I am reviewing the 2017 season and I cannot fully express how happy I am that Harris is gone. I used to go to great lengths to get the Eurosport broadcasts just because I couldn't listen to Harris say "ab-sol-lutely" one more time. However, I am not sure that Crafar was a well thought out choice for...

Re: Dorna organizing MotoGP and WSBK.

Every rule they impose in Motogp seems like apllying a bandaid over a bandaid. I agree. But I do think that it is a mistake to revert back to the ever popular "it was better in the good old days" argument. (i'm not suggesting you are, just that the rose tinted approach seems to be the cure-all for ...

Hi Guys, it has been a while. Apologies. I surprised that there are a few things totally absent from this discussion. faster1 touched on it a bit but there is so much to this deal in how it will affect television broadcast negotiations. Right now, the two series negotiate deals with broadcasters sep...

I saw that earlier. Interesting news. Really looking forward to Suzuki's return. Peter Clifford from WCM (who was driven out of MotoGP by the FIM because they used modified production cases) said that once they and KR were gone, suddenly the factories realized that they were coming in last and it wa...

Steve Rapp and Attack ahead of two regular CRT entries. That has to feel pretty good. Two guys that have never been to the "Brickyard" though. I realize that but the wildcard bikes have only seen a few hours of track time *ever*. I expect them to fall back some but I think the effort is admirable.

Birt maintains that the comments were made at Laguna Seca and in the context of Rossi leaving Ducati - again, if you choose not to believe him then that is your perogative but Birt is maintaining that apart from a small minority of what was written this isn't a re-hashing of old quotes. Please rere...

Tourn46, Rossifumi and Ducati1098, Stoner isn't backpedaling and has stated clearly that he stands by what he said. His statements were all in response to comments made by Rossi and Burgess. I think the responses would be the same from anyone in his situation. Accusations were made and when they tur...

Crap! I can't believe I didn't think of this until now.

New Prediction: Steve Rapp AND Aaron Yates both qualify - 20 points.

That is a huge stretch, far bigger than qualifying at Laguna Seca given the much longer track length and but I'm willing to take the chance.
