Music to my ears Ant 8-) 8-) :D
Nothing 100% confirmed yet but apparently a massive effort being made behind the scenes and Brian sounded very positive, so more of a "watch this space" sort of thing at the moment.

Re: Road racing 2021 - any good news anywhere?

Sounds like the Ulster may be back next year, Brian McCormack has dropped a few hints in the Chasin' the Racin' podcast.

Southern 100 cancelled now, just waiting for the announcement for the Manx which must be coming given that the Manx government has announced it won't be opening it's borders before September.

Seen this morning that the organisers of the Armoy road races are optimistic they can still run this summer.

Re: Danny Kent

You're very welcome, do they do any road racing in Australia? I know that Peter Hickman in that video ( briefly!!) raced in New Zealand a couple of years ago, including at the Cemetery Circuit which I think might be public roads Yeah he won the final race of the weekend at the Cemetry Circuit, it i...

Re: Road racing 2021 - any good news anywhere?

The Cookstown 100 is scheduled for September and that was the only Irish road race that went ahead last year. The Southern 100 and 4 Scarborough meetings are still pencilled in and currently the Manx Grand Prix is still scheduled though a friend of mine who lives on the Isle of Man says it's the wor...

Re: Danny Kent

Hmmmm, I hope not. Karl Harris rings through the mind Anyone doing the TT with something to prove is a risk. (From memory, Guy got booted out of ACU land, and did a lot of road-racing in Ireland under MCUI auspices Also, Danny had a season where everything clicked, and cleaned up, and then struggle...

Re: Danny Kent

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he got enticed to do the TT in the near future, seems to happen to a lot of talented short circuit riders who lose their way on the shorts in order to boost their profile and if you're good at it you can make a decent living from it too.

Re: 2020 road racing line up

Will the race next weekend be in front of an audience? No. BSB is classed as an "elite" event and according to the government they can't have a crowd. Apparently you can go to club racing though, I believe Bemsee are allowed spectators at Cadwell next weekend. Edit - but you can only go to spectate...

Re: 2020 road racing line up

Dunlop was out on the Suzuki in the official BSB test at Donington last Tuesday too and apparently will be racing in the Superstock class at Donington BSB next weekend. So it looks like he's back with Hawk Racing.

Re: IoW road racing?

Plater was also involved in the proposed Welsh event a couple of years ago, they had big plans and ideas, including a shiny website with branded merchandise and lots of high profile interviews with top road racers and that came to nothing because they couldn't get the permission to run it since most...

Re: IoW road racing?

Apparently the MP for the IOW is opposed to it because he has some fanciful nonsense in his head that it will encourage speeding. That sort of thing is one of the biggest obstacles to events like this starting up in this country, especially in areas where they've never had this sort of event. A few ...

Re: 2020 road racing line up

Well he's already won a TT on the GSXR-1000(Senior in 2017) that was a Hawk Racing bike too. I don't know what spec he was running at Mallory, it was him and Guintoli and the bikes had stock cans on, don't know whether that is to do with noise or what though. I hope somebody does give the Ducati a g...

Question for you guys. Came across this on Michael Dunlop’s Facebook page. Would like to support the cause and these glasses are sweet as hell. Re: 2020 road racing line up

Came out yesterday that Hutchy has re-signed for Synetiq BMW(formally Tyco) when the racing finally gets underway.

He had a lot of success with them in the two seasons he was with them too, 3 TT wins, 3 Ulster wins, a NW200 win and runner-up in the 2016 National Superstock championship.

I don't think we'll see any racing either, it's important that we keep as much strain away from the NHS as possible so all these big events whether it be sports, concerts or festivals which require medical staff to be on site need to be postponed or cancelled so the medical staff can be used in the ...
