Re: Darryn VS Brad Binder

Sadly Darryn never made the podium during 2017, and his form never recovered after breaking his thumb in July. Somewhat surprisingly he got a another excellent ride in the Ajo KTM team for 2018. Given that this is the team that carried Brad to the 2016 title, this might be seen as a make-or-break se...

Darryn VS Brad Binder

Is Darryn's career following a similar trajectory to that of his brother Brad? Let's examine their records for fun :geek: Records Brad Binder (BB41) 1995 Born 2009 14yr Started racing internationally with the Red Bull Rookies Cup. Finished the season in 14th, with his best result 10th at Jerez. 2010...

Re: MotoGP 2015, Valencia

MM blocking DP like the best wing-man ever, without attempting a single pass on JL... I'm speechless. And the worst thing is that the only reason he CAN play the heel is because he is the best. Karma is a female pooch and Rossi must realise the irony, given his treatment of Gibernau. I'm glad this s...

Best season ever! What will Race Direction do?!? Can't wait for DE's piece. This site is second to none. I guess it is time to subscribe. It would be rude not to ;)

Not like this

I have never experienced anything like this level of tension in sport... Well, not since the 1995 Rugby World Cup (being South African). Can someone please pull a Nelson Mandela? Mr Rainey, sir? What will MM do to retaliate? I don't think "surrender" is an option... Someone could get hurt or worse. ...

Valencia Test times

Check out the lastest times from Valencia
http://motomatters.com/results/2014/11/ ... t_330.html

Aleix came in 6th, 0,854 seconds behind Pedrosa. This is much better than I expected from the new Suzook.

Time to change the title to "Aleix Appreciation Thread?"

Re: Aleix Espargaro: Triple Moto1 World Champion

I've been saying that for a few years, he is a very talented rider. It seems though that the Suzuki is still 20 km/hr down on speed, has a weird handling issue that you can see (maybe it's the way RDP rides it?) an electronics not being remotely sorted issue and the engines go bang  2015 sou...

Re: Aleix Espargaro: Triple Moto1 World Champion

Having just read the "Crutchlow's first year at Ducati" I actually know who you are referring to: Rockster is the name of a user who recently got banned for getting Kropotkin's goat  While I love the different machines, each with their own strengths and weaknesses (AMAZING how the Dukes suddenl...

Re: Aleix Espargaro: Triple Moto1 World Champion

Anyway, I made the opening statement because I could barely find a mention of it on internet and I wondered why. Having given the matter some thought, I guess he is stuck in a catch-22, one where nobody cares. While winning three "World Championships" he was still only 7th, 11th and 12th overall. De...

Re: Aleix Espargaro: Triple Moto1 World Champion

Haha, I was actually wrong, AE41 dropped to the third tier in 2014, with the introduction of the Factory/Open class just below full-on FACTORY  Anyway, this is how it panned out: 2014 Second tier (Ducati class) 5th Dovi (and richly deserved IMO) 10th Iannone 13th Crutchlow 2014 Third tier 7th A...

Aleix Espargaro: Triple Moto1 World Champion

Is it just me or didn't Aleix just defend the second tier championship for the second time?

2012 - First CRT champ (ART)
2013 - Defended CRT crown (ART)
2014 - Open Champ (Forward Yamaha)
