Re: MOTM Sepang 2015...

In the position Hodgson is in, unless you see it first hand saying something like that can be very silly. I'll give him and Lorenzo a pat on the back for sorting it, but should Lorenzo have to ask him to retract that? Will Lorenzo be happy to speak to him on the at future events? Maybe, maybe not I...

Re: MotoGP 2015, Valencia

Valentino will have one, possibly two extra sessions to focus on bike setup. He never cared much for the "new" QP anyway. ;)

Saw somewhere that a lot of raindrops are in the week's forecast for Valencia.

http://www.motoracing.pt/2015/10/26/lorenzo-desrespeita-rossi-em-pleno-podium/ Look at Lorenzo, when Rossi receives the trophy for 3º place, thumbs down. Jumping in late here. I spent the last 30 minutes sifting through the thread looking for this point. I'm wondering what's going on in Lin Jarvis'...

Re: MOTM, Sepang 2014.

I have to admit, that Moto3 impression during Q2 of MotoGP was cringe worthy... I actually couldn't believe my eyes when they all rolled through pit lane while the clock ran out (for them to get around in time to set a lap). :P

Re: MOTM, Sepang 2014.

Vasquez for hopefully, finally earning a decent ride next year with his 2nd win. I think it's the biggest disgrace this year (narrowly followed by Kallio leaving VDS) that he hasn't got a ride yet. Wouldn't his age have a lot to do with this? He's 28 now (as of September, I believe) and at the limi...

MOTM: Rossi. For bringing what looked like a step-backwards weekend forward in the race under exhausting conditions. His younger teammate didn't have anyone to blame but himself. DOTM: Alex Marquez for losing his cool and setting himself up to be handled by Miller. HM: Tito Rabat for securing the ti...

Re: MotoGP, Sepang, Malaysia 2014

Back in '88 or so, Moriwaki showed up at Suzuka with a couple *cough* 340cc (or thereabout) "GSXR250" SP250F entries. The massive speed advantage down the front straight sorta set things off and a post race tear down inspection busted them... It was a running joke in the paddock after that. Everyone...

This is him back at the (2nd?) test at Sepang.

I'd say that's a lot different from the classic Rossi form. He was doing it a lot last weekend as well. Especially at the final corner.

Re: MotoGP, Sepang, Malaysia 2014

Miller? IMO he raced brutally hard but not over the line. Yes he ran Alex wide repeatedly but nothing where he used him as a berm. He made all of those corners, held his line, & none were wild. They were all like last lap moves & his whole race was a last lap. Figure of speech... Granted, the conta...

Re: MotoGP, Sepang, Malaysia 2014

That's coming in to the pits via the back section, the shortcut after Turn 6. Not the normal way to enter the pits, and it crosses the service road there Yes, but they were using that shortcut all weekend. Service road or not, you'd think they'd have someone keeping an eye on it. That car went thro...

Re: MotoGP, Sepang, Malaysia 2014

I thought it looked more like a MX race than a road racing GP. He used Alex as a berm. Of course, Alex made himself a berm repeatedly... I thought he'd change his tactics but nope. It would have been a whole different story if he punted him off though. Pretty much a Capirossi / Harada type situation.

Personally, I enjoyed watching Valentino bag 1st on his 250th GP.
The real question is, did his riding make his front outlast George's or did George really pick a rotten one out of the pile?

Looks to me like they've made more progress this season than the past 3 or 4 combined. Sure, we won't know for sure until they're back on the same rules as the other manufacturers but one cannot deny they've improved.

Looks like you were right TZ. Rossi “Yes, I think the bike gave me a big knock. It was the rear tyre of the bike because as I fell I took a hit, but I remember it well. But then, I think, the wheel hit me from behind on the right and that was the blow that knocked me out.” http://www.motogp.com/en/...

They aren't making the "Go Fast" parts available to all teams.
Sadly, that's pretty much always been the situation in racing paddocks.
