New vs. old subscriptions.

David, have you come up with a solution to this yet? When should us old subscribers expect an email?

Re: Round 2 Jerez - pre and post discussion - SPOILERS

oooooook this thread is going not motomatters like ... let s please get back on track What's not to like? It had passion and I thoroughly enjoyed it. +1 I'm not defending Rossi's move, but it's not like it's the first time this has happened. It was a proper race, that's why I love Motogp and don't ...

Re: RC212V vs. WSBK CBR1000RR - doesn't look good for CRT.

That's a fair point, Rusty, but the MotoGP bikes already have the full-on racing frame and carbon brakes. The way I see it, the CRT's will effectively be competing against bikes which have the same frame tech, the same brake tech, but more power and more electronics. To me, that doesn't bode well fo...

RC212V vs. WSBK CBR1000RR - doesn't look good for CRT.

There is an interesting interview with Jonny Rea over on Visordown. http://www.visordown.com/interviews/interview-jonathan-rea/17579.html In it he compares his WSBK Fireplace to his brief dalliance with the RC212V he tested at Sepang: Experiencing MotoGP on the RC212V Comparing it to my Castrol Hond...

Re: Moto2 soon to get a VYRUS?!

A few years back, when BMW were still testing what eventually became the S 1000 RR, I remember reading that they tried using a variation on their Duolever setup. Apparently the lack of dive - and therefore the lack of corresponding increased head angle/decreased trail - meant the steering didn't qui...

Re: Rossi to Ducati!!!

Someone Clarify I see nothing of Marlboro,,, Nada, Zilch, Zed, Zip! Not even a bar code. They MUST be out or this is the stupidest waste of sponsor $$$ ever. Actually, I disagree. I think that the red and white combined with the black DUCATI makes it look more like a packet of Marlboro than it did ...

I have it, and it is worth every single penny (or cent).

There have been some truly poor official products over the years, but this is wonderful.

Re: Valencia Tests, dreams and predictions

...and HRC come back with C and D. They just have not listened to the riders since Rossi left. I don't think they listened much when Rossi was still there either. Isn't that one of the reasons he left? As an aside, has anyone else noticed Rossi has pretty much the same helmet design for his first t...

BBC thinks international world ch'ship is a national program

This probably won't be of much interest to anyone outside the UK, but here goes. See this: http://www.bbc.co.uk/commissioning/tv/network/genres/sports.shtml And, for more detail, this: http://www.bbc.co.uk/commissioning/tv/network/genres/pdf/sport_motogp2010_abc.pdf I'm not entirely sure what's goin...

Re: Melandri's outburst.

You know, something doesn't seem quite right about this. Were they speaking to each other in English, or Italian? Has something been lost in translation? I know Marco has had a bit of a big mouth lately, but he must surely be aware that apart from 2005 - and 2010 (so far) - Loris has finished higher...

Not sure what I think of this. Considering his recent form, does he really need to do this? Is he scared Rossi will be well enough in a month to beat him?

Re: Silly Season 2011

Thank you. Very good article. It only confuses me more though. Wasnt it after LeMans that Rossi said "Its not my shoulder, we are lacking grip on corner exit" Yes, but when they arrived at Mugello, Rossi, Costa and Burgess came clean about how bad his shoulder really was. http://www.autosport...

Re: Ducati Marlboro, or just Ducati?

I'm not sure Fiat and Yamaha contract expires at the end of this season. I think they are on for at least a year. I think you are right....2011 or 2012. IIRC But it sure is fun speculate. According to Visordown Fiat runs out this year too. http://www.visordown.com/motorcycle-racing-news-moto-gp/red...

Re: Ducati Marlboro, or just Ducati?

Very interesting. A sponsor with no branding - is this just testament to how much some of the people at Philip Morris love motorsport? Or do they think/know that being the only fagbearers left works for them?

Ducati Marlboro, or just Ducati?

I am sure plenty of other people have noticed the last time we saw any evidence of Marlboro (the barcode) was Jerez. Have Marlboro pulled out? A quick search produced no news, but they aren't listed in the sponsor links on Ducatis website.
