Re: BSB 2021

I have a feeling that the 30 point lead might grow at Oulton Park though, McKenzie has traditionally not gone well there whilst O'Halloran has.

We'll see in a couple of weeks.

Re: World SBK in 2021

If he embraced Toprak saying well done but i think you went on the green, then came over and asked Riba to check the on board it's fair enough. Doubt it though and interested to hear what both say about it in their next interviews. Think the problem lies with how two faced it appeared. Well done Top...

Re: World SBK in 2021

Toprak gained no advantage out of his infringement onto the green as was exhibited by Rea overtaking him in the next corner I know what you're saying, but if it had been grass over the edge of the track who knows what would have happened eg Toprak's bike may have become unsettled whilst rejoining t...

Re: World SBK in 2021

I feel like the cordial accommodation offered was purely down to Rea believing Toprak was a fierce competitor who he would have the beating of on the majority of occasions. Now that Toprak has demonstrated he is not just going to fight for race wins and is well and truly a championship competitor, I...

Re: Silly Season

Fair comment, but something happened at Yamaha. Think about how he went in the first 5-6 races for them. I feel like Yamaha made a mountain out of a molehill with the over revving of the engine thing to experiment with potential riders for next year. I've always owned and love Yamaha's but I hope Ma...

Re: Petronas

I read that Dixon is likely to have a go on the M1 at Aragon, think I said it elsewhere but I think he did a solid job last weekend despite my comments above. Allegedly his teammate Vierge turned the chance down because the B spec bike isn't competitive and he has no chance of a full time ride on it...

Re: Lolly Water British Gp

Just watching FP1 a wee bit behind real time. I've fairly often given Jake Dixon a bit of a hard time and this ride is mainly to do with his passport............. but two and a bit seconds off the pace at the end of his first run is a very very solid start. Well played Sir

Re: World SBK in 2021

I don't know if any crash.net regulars have moved over here since they disabled their comments section, which was totally poisonous anyway, but their WSB news headline made me laugh this morning: WorldSBK: Rea and Lowes to miss out on Suzuka 8 hours after event is cancelled Well no sh!t sherlock, I'...

Re: BSB 2021

That must be a change this year, used to be top 6. I think your fellow Aussie O'Halloran will be a difficult man to beat, he's going well everywhere although in the past he's suffered some fairly bad luck

Re: BSB 2021

Location; Little Budworth in Cheshire, doesn't that sound cute. Deer leap, Island bend, Knickerbrook, I like corners with names. One last quirky little thing about Oulton is that there's a little church just outside the circuit grounds at Druids. For that reason not a wheel turns before midday on a...

Re: BSB 2021

Went to Oulton Park for round one, it's a lovely wee circuit although at some points the fences keep you a long way from the track. The exit of Druids gives some spectacular photographs, I remember one in particular of Brookes way back in his HM Plant Honda days was incredible

Re: Moto GP schedual and the corona virus...

Can I ask how you guys outwith the UK are doing vaccination wise, it seems to be one of the things we have done well. Given the large percentage of population who have had both ( or even 1 jab) it seems the link between cases and hospitalisations has been broken. England are pretty much on route to ...

Re: BSB 2021

Brookes is always a slow starter, usually does no harm with the showdown format. Fairly sure its a showdown year again so he'll be a threat. Dont think any of you mentioned the impressive Peter Hickman. Lost over two stone for this season and basically said because there's no road racing this year h...

Re: Petronas

McPhee has shown he is capable at Grand Prix level, winning races and frequently near the front. One of his flaws I feel is that he's almost too soft for the madness of Moto3. He often gets bullied towards the back of the front group and ends up getting caught up in someone elses incident, I feel if...

Petronas

Probably because I'm Scottish, but did anyone else think the Petronas choice to take J McPhee's crew chief and give him to Jake Dixon was a bit Aprilia-esque? I heard Neil Hodgson say rumours suggest that Petronas are so desperate to get Dixon a decent result to justify putting him on Rossi's bike w...

Re: SHARK Grand Prix de France - rd.5

I feel that Lowes has lowered his stock with that move/ crash. Sam is at the higher end of the age threshold for promotion to the big class again, although he's fast the team bosses will be put off by the number of unforced errors he makes. He seemed to be suggesting to the team boss that Vierge cut...
