Results of Qualifying for the 125cc class:
Marc Marquez will start from pole for the 11th time this season, setting the fastest time at Phillip Island during qualifying in imperious style. The Red Bull Ajo rider worked cleverly together with his teammate Sandro Cortese, the pair drafting their way to the front two spots on the grid. Marquez' title rivals Pol Espargaro and Nico Terol complete the front row, the Tuenti Derbi rider in 3rd ahead of the Bancaja Aspar man, but both Spaniards were over three quarters of a second behind the championship leader.

Pol and Nico will have their work cut out to stop Marc gapping them in the race and title chase tomorrow.With Sandro in 2nd,it appears that the Derbi's have a real edge down Gardner straight.
