The success of the F1 docudrama series 'Drive To Survive' has encouraged every sport and every team to try to copy the golden formula. That has not been easy, as the MotoGP series 'MotoGP Unlimited' on Amazon Prime - plagued by limited geographical rollouts, among other problems - demonstrated. But not impossible, hence the success of 'Welcome To Wrexham', the unlikely tale of two Hollywood stars taking over a struggling Welsh soccer team playing in a minor British league.
'All In', the series documenting Marc Marquez' long return from injury sustained at Jerez in 2020, and which came very close to ending his career, falls very firmly in the latter camp. The series, produced by Red Bull and shown on Amazon Prime, catalogs the long and rocky road Marquez traveled through the 2022 season. From the season opener at Qatar, his massive highside in Mandalika, his move to Madrid, the decision to have surgery after Mugello, the fierce meeting he had with HRC at the Red Bull Ring in Austria, to his return at the Misano test, and his contact with Fabio Quartararo on his return to racing at Aragon.
There is a huge amount to see in the series, and Marquez gives a very open and frank account of himself. The series gives a clear insight into his relationship with his family - and the way they keep the 8-time world champion grounded - his ambition, and above all, his absolute fixation on winning above all else. It is a great insight into the mind of a champion, whether you are a fan of the Repsol Honda rider or not.
The good news for those who missed the series when it came out on Amazon Prime is that it is now available for free on the Red Bull Website. The series is in Spanish, with English subtitles, and recording the show in Spanish adds an extra dimension. It allows Marquez to speak freely and fluently, and express himself with much more precision than he might otherwise.
I found the series enjoyable, and especially insightful. I would highly recommend it, especially as it is free.

Thanks David
Thanks again David.
I will have a gander at this.
A great watch
Thanks so much for letting us know about that. I had seen mention of the series previously but not sure where people screened it. I've only watched a couple of episodes thus far but really enjoying it. I hope that someone else will give a MotoGP documentary series a go at some point, despite the failure of the previous attempt.
